Fundraiser For Charles Sanders

In 1994, Charles "Chucky" Sanders had 20 years of his life taken away when he was convicted of being responsible for a gun shot wound to another mans hand. For that crime, he was falsely accused and given 96 years in prison.   Murderers and rapists are given less time.  

During the 20 years of his life that have been taken away from him, he not only survived prison, but he used his time in prison to make a positive impact in the inmate community that he served. "Chuck" changed the lives of many inmates that he encountered, through various leadership, mentoring and big-brother roles that he played while being incarcerated.  

Chucky missed out on the lives of many loved ones for 20 years.  However, through God's blessing, and a recent court decision by the Honorable Judge David Janes overturn his original sentence of 96 years,  Chucky has been given a second chance at life.  

No amount of money could replace years that have been taken away from a life.  Charles Sanders has had EVERYTHING he once owned, taken away from him. Our goal is to raise $15,000 to ease Chucky's transition and to position him for a higher likelihood of success when he is released from Prison on November 19th, 2014 at 9:00am.
