Get Dax to Middle Earth
THANK YOU to everyone who has shown their bit of love to Dax so far. I can't believe how many people his tiny heart has touched around the world! We are forever grateful. Dax will be arriving in New Zealand on April 1. Just a few more dollars to go, but we will make it happen. I cannot wait to see Dax again!!!

Dax is a ten-year-old mini toy poodle, but some people like to call him a wizard.
I (Dax's Mom) am moving to New Zealand, and had planned to take Dax with me. But due to some unforeseen health expenses of my own, my savings for Dax's move now have to go towards getting myself healthy before I go. (Which I'm feeling extemely selfish about.)
Dax is my best friend, and even though he's only a mere 5.2 pounds, moving your best friend to New Zealand is not easy or cheap. But he is worth the world to me.
So with a humble heart, I am reaching out to friends, family and fans of Dax , in hopes that you might understand and maybe agree that he should live out his days with me in Middle Earth.
The funds rasied here will go towards the following:
- NZ Animal Import Permit/Request of Entry ($175)
- Vet Visits and Travel Shots ($1000)
- Flight Prep and Plane Ticket ($1800)
- 10-days Quarantine upon Arrival in NZ ($1695)
I could talk all day about the things Dax does that make people happy. He's a special soul inside of the tiniest poodle body. He's got a healthy heart and the best smile to prove it. He's my ray of sunshine.
Asking people for money in any situation is very strange for me. But when it comes down to it, I will do anything for Dax.
I don't have much to offer by way of 'rewards' for donating, however, if it's possible when all is said and done, I will most definitely be sending postcards of Dax around the world. He should be on everyone's fridge as a daily reminder of just how wonderful life is.
