On New Year's Eve, a massive landslide destroyed the homes of hundreds of people in the town of Ask, near Oslo, Norway. The disaster left a lot of folks to evacuate their houses in the middle of the night, and many people were declared missing by the rescue teams. After many days of searching for survivors, people were found tragically dead due to the accident. One family was composed by Bjørn-Ivar (40), his pregnant wife Charlot and their daughter Alma (2 1/2), all taken away from their loved ones by the landslide.
My good friend Markus or "Smite" as many of you know him on the internet, is Charlot's brother, and he's like a brother to me. He's supported me and my family through the years and now it's time to give back to him. So now it's time to give back to Markus and his family, as it is the least we can do during such hard times.
So I've decided to setup a "speedrunning" marathon called Awesome Games Done Average 2021 (AGDA for short), focusing on lifting his spirits, remind him he's not alone and that all his loved ones, known and unknown, have his back.
The marathon will be held on my Twitch channel, twitch.tv/slambolts, where we'll play through various games as fast as a casual player can.
