Growing more Analog Theatre
Tax deductible
We are Analog Theatre, a Bay Area-based, experimental theatre collective, specializing in transformational work, and, you guessed it, analog theater techniques. The company was born from a love of old-school theatre craft and a pressing need in the Bay Area for more places to develop original physical theatre. We are currently in the middle of our 2024 season, produced by the Analog Collective (Jed Parsario, Rebecca Pingree, and Elissa Beth Stebbins) with director/deviser Julius Rea.
What is Mask Monday?
Mask Monday is an ever-changing, entirely original, variety show performance series. Each Mask Monday features Commedia-inspired masked emcees, a roster of Bay Area local talent performing their own creations, and a wide range of disciplines including puppets, mask, clown, mime, musical theatre, drag, improvisation and more.
We're hoping you’ll help us continue growing our small but important company into 2024 and beyond, with more artists, and more art. Here’s three ways you can do that:
- Come to Mask Monday! In 2024 we'll have new incredible line ups of promisingly unfinished theatre on May 27, July 29, and September 30!
- Add yourself to our Mailing List. Algorithms are such fickle mistresses and we just want to invite you to rad Analog stuff!
- Throw us some dollar bills right here at the top of this here GoFundMe page. $25 pays for an hour of an artist devising with masks, crafting a puppet, writing comedy structures for improvising or performing for YOU. Every hour means the world. $50 pays for one Guest Artist to perform at a Mask Monday.
With much gratitude and joyful shenanigans!
Love,
The Analog Theatre Collective
