Volunteering Expedition to Costa Rica

My Volunteer expedition to Costa Rica will be in the summer of 2021.

On this expedition we will be helping the Costa Rica wildlife and the local communities around the island. Costa Rica has an abundance of wildlife such as Elephants, Sea turtles and Orangutans. I will be involved in projects to protect these beautiful creatures such as improving their environments and helping care for the sick and injured animals.

In addition to this i will be cleaning beaches to protect the Turtle nesting sites and recycling the plastic waste into Eco friendly building materials.

Additionally part of my 4 weeks will be focused on raising the educational standards of the local people such as teaching English and building class rooms

This is something i am very passionate about and will be looking to use skills developed on this expedition through out my life.

The cost of the expedition is £4,550. This includes flights, insurance, accommodation, transport around the island and the cost of the conservation projects.

I will also be posting regular updates/videos of my progress.
