Gregory Gerken Medical Fund

As you may or may not know, Gregory was involved in a very serious boating accident with his fiancé Maura.  He sustained a lacerated liver, cracked sternum, broken ribs and ruptured his abdominal wall with his colon, creating a severe hernia. Gregory's injuries are 4th degree liver laceration. They have now found a blood clot in his lung and the doctors are addressing with blood thinners. This needs  to be under control before they can operate.  They are the managing the pain and trying to keep him comfortable.  He will not be able to have surgery for 4-8 weeks until the clot is resolved. They just discovered today a hematoma outside his liver.

All of us want to know how we can help...we'll a 26 year old getting ready to start the next chapter of his life with his fiancé Maura and all these medical bills is extremely daunting.  We want Gregory to focus on getting well and not worrying about money (we don't know when he can go back to work). This Go Fund Me campaign is to help Gregory once he is on the road to recovery pay for the enormous medical bills he will have.
