I feel honored to have known them and blessed that their passing serves as a reminder to me that my time on this beautiful earth is limited and that I should seize the opportunity I have to forgive, share, explore, and love. I can think of no greater way to honor the deceased than to live this way.”

Gregg served as a Marine for 13 years. He was stationed at Camp Lejeune and served in Desert Storm and Desert Shield. His military background and travel took him to CA where he met Samantha, the love of his life. Life brought them to WA, and soon baby Brie made 3.
This is Gregg's third round with cancer. He got Hodgkins Lymphoma the first time in 2007, one year after he married Sam. The second time was also Hodgkins Lymphoma late in 2008, diagnosed just a couple of months after finding out that they were expecting. This time it is AML (Acute Myelocytic Leukemia), which is rare, and caused by previous chemotherapy treatments.
Gregg had multiple stays in and out of the hospital since his 1st round of chemotherapy over a year ago. He underwent many Blood transfusions, test, and trails with Cancer Care Alliance. He never gave up and fought till the bitter end never losing sense of humor. The pain in the end was more than his body could bare and we are all glad to see him free from that. His family where close to his side in a peaceful passing in the evening of April 15th.
In lieu of flowers and gifts we ask that you lend support to Sam and Abrielle and donate what you can to ease the financial burden that comes with such a great loss. Fighting cancer can be really expensive. The Family can access anything that you donate almost immediately (they don't have to wait for the numbers to hit a certain point to take some out if needed).We have custom gifts coming your way for everyone who donates $100 or more. As friends we’ve sipped a cup of coffee over the years at the bus stop as we send our kids off to school. So, what could be better than a mug with Gregg’s mug on it. Who doesn’t love a pun . If you are local we would like to give them to you in person. If you are out of state, we ask that you pay shipping costs.
