Greg Shanahan's Miracle
Donation protected
If you have ever met Greg Shanahan in person, you knew immediately he could be your best friend. His infectious spirit and ability to communicate with anyone is why people are instantly drawn to him. What some people may not know about him is that he has served 3 tours in Iraq and Afganistan. In the middle of his second tour in Iraq, he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. He came back to the states for treatment and has remained cancer free until this year. In April 2017, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer. Since April, he has undergone treatment in Tulsa, but without success of removing the tumor that is completely blocking his esophagus. Since his completion of chemo round one, they have reported cancer on his liver and lungs as well. He and Monica made the tough decision to separate their family and travel to Chicago to continue treatment. Since being at Cancer Treatment Centers of America, they have been given new hope on many different treatment options. He is currently undergoing treatment in Chicago until the first week in September. This of course comes with a heavy financial burden. Their medical bills have already surpassed $10,000.00 and it will cost $3,000.00 for them to stay in their hotel for 8 more weeks. Their 3 children will also need financial support to be able to cover travel expenses to see them on the weekends as much as possible. Their out of pocket expenses will only continue to build and our family is asking for your support, prayers, and any donation you are willing to give. Please join us in a prayer of agreement that Greg Shanahan receives a MIRACLE.
