Bridging The Gap

In the spring of 2016 our friend Gregory Fox was injured in a traffic accident while riding his bicycle home from the gym. Greg suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) in the collision. After a year and a half of recovery he has exhausted his financial resources and now is attempting to return to the work force. His former business has been closed and Greg struggles with cognitive issues including short-term memory problems that negate his ability to do the multitasking required in running his former business, DRGCOMM. The TBI’s after effects will require Greg to work with vocational rehab with the state of Oregon for assessment, training and placement in a job that allows him to begin to earn a paycheck again. There is now a gap of time, at least until the end of this year where the rehab assessment and training will occur.

 

There is still a possibility of a liability financial settlement to the accident but that is not going to happen in the near future if at all.

 

We are trying to raise money to keep Greg in his home and pay his expenses until that process of rehab is complete and he is able to start a new employment path. If there is more money raised than required to bridge the gap all proceeds above that amount will be donated to the Brain Injury Alliance of Oregon.
