Greg Dowel Retirement

As many of you may be aware Greg Dowel will be finishing up at the end of the year.
Greg has recently had his own personal issues with his fight against Cancer and has decided to hang up the boots to spend more time with the family at the end of the year.
A lot of the team have known Greg since his start with BMD on the 24th June 2002, which goes to prove not only his age J but also showing that he is amongst the longest serving employees in the Victorian division.
Greg has always been a great guy to work with, always cheerful and easy to get along with. He has also been a great mentor for a lot of new employees and has a very hands, a “Bob the builder” – he can fix it personality which was evident when managing the maintenance crew for a number of years early on.
A number of projects are doing some site BBQ’s to raise money for Greg and his family to enjoy and help out once he leaves the company.
It would be great if everyone chipped in and promote the BMD value of Family to help Greg a long term employee and his family in the coming year.
Greg will be leaving at the end of the year not only as an employee but also as a great mate. With that being the case let’s send him off on a high.
