Our friend Greg Perez from San Jose, CA is in the midst of his second tangle with something we all cannot stand to hear: cancer. Greg battled and won his first battle with cancer about 1 year ago. Cancer tried to take him down via his liver, but that was not happening… Greg beat it! Greg beat it with the help of his fantastic wife Jamie and his own STRONG WILL. If you know Greg, you know exactly what I am talking about. Well, fast forward to today and it looks like cancer has come back and re-grouped with a new plan of attack. This time, the cancer is a bit more organized and better suited with its evil tactics. So the time has come once again for our warrior friend (if your going into battle, Greg is your first warrior pick) to out-maneuver the cancer that has this time targeted his lungs. Cancer must think he does not have back-up or a squad ready to battle next to him. Well cancer… you are in for the fight of your life, because I am here today to bring all of the people who love Greg - his family, friends, and anyone who reads this post - together.
Greg, as most of you know, is Greg. Greg is all real, there is nothing fake about Greg. What you see is what you get, no BS. A man of his word, a real man, a fearless man. Also, we all know how loyal Greg is and has been to ALL of us! I am very certain that Greg has helped you out in some way with a deal or hook-up on something! Anything from tires to tamales, car parts to car shows, video games to tattoos and even oral or foot surgery (crazy, right?). All Greg wants to do in life is HELP everyone around him. He has been helping all of us with no hesitation or qualms if he deemed you worthy. Greg WANTS to help you, and he goes out of his way to help you. He always has and always will. It is in his spirit, it is what makes him feel good: to help you, me and all of us! Greg never wanted anything in return but your friendship for everything he does!
Currently, Greg is awaiting a clinical trial being conducted at UCSF Medical Center beginning in August. We are all very hopeful that the help of this treatment and support from all of us will help him through this battle. As you can imagine, this current (and future) treatments are costing a lot of money and will continue to do so. That said, the time has come for us to go to the front lines and stand next to Greg! We are his squad, we are his back-up, we are his posse! We are indebted to Greg through all of his help for us throughout the years, and now is our chance to repay the favor. Please help Greg and his family in every way you can. We thank you in advance for all of your support.
