Green Bus of Happiness

Hi! I'm Michele. I'm a musician, and I travel around the US performing at festivals.

I've been sleeping in spare rooms and couches and occasionally a motel for a long time, and don't always have space and quiet to work on my music while travelling. I've been dreaming of having my own home on the road for years, and actively shopping for a bus to make into a home all this year. 

Enter the Green Bus of Happiness! If I can get the Green Bus, I can start right away living a real home life with my belongings in reach and working all year, instead of living out of my car and waiting weeks and months to find a place where I can unpack my things and work. 

The Green Bus will help me stop paying for storage units in various states and stop paying so much for restaurant food while I'm on the road. Most importantly, the Green Bus will be a place I can live while making my albums, because I need lodging in the city where my record label is located. Once I can start making and selling records, I hope to finally make a modest living from my own work and not have to rely on my community so much for support and housing.   

Please help me buy my dream home and jump-start my music career! 

I have most of the funds to purchase the bus due to a small inheritance, but I need a little more to afford the trip to purchase the Green Bus and get all the paperwork done, and still have some left over for food and fuel to go into the spring festival season. I've also included enough dollars in my request to cover payment processing fees. Ideally I need to travel to pick up the bus in January, and start living in it in February while recording, so I can have CDs to sell at my gigs in March. The seller has agreed to accept a deposit and hold the bus for me for a couple of weeks so I can raise the rest of the funds. It's a short amount of time, and I'm really hoping that this will work out before February. 

I can't wait to share songs and photos of living happily on the road and working in my dream home, the Green Bus of Happiness. This is my life's dream and I am so excited to finally have a chance at making it work. Your help means more to me than I can express.
