Greater New Macedonia” Our Church Burned down”

On February 9th 2020 at or around 6:30 am tragedy struck. We received a call that our Church, Greater New Macedonia was on fire. When asked how bad was it the response was it’s falling. Fear, hurt, disconnect and heartache fell into our Spirits. Greater New Macedonia Baptist Church was over 100 years old. Historic and full of memories, faith and family. The church congregation spent the entire morning standing and watching as the fire fighters and county officials fought to take the fire down. They took pictures, asked questions and gave their blessings as they watched what once was become no more. As our congregation gathered in love to support one another we were reminded that we serve an unfailing God. We began to pray and uplift one another despite the pile of burnt rubbish before us, we knew that God had a plan. God always has a plan. We believe that Greater is coming in fact it’s already here. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity and especially your prayers. Faith without works is dead, and we believe together we can rebuild. In Jesus Name, Amen!
