Great Britain U17 Girls Water Polo Squad

Hi we are raising funds on behalf of the Great Britain U17 Girls Water Polo Squad. This group of hard-working and talented young athletes have spent the last 2 years in the GB Talent Programme and have qualified for the European Championships in Turkey at the end of July. Although Swim England offers as much support as it can, unfortunately water polo is largely self-funded and the girls’ families bear the majority of the financial burden. The total cost of competing in the European Championships is in the region of £35,000 and the girls are determined that everyone in the squad is able to travel to Turkey to represent Great Britain regardless of their own financial situation. With 60 days to go until the Europeans, the squad have set themselves a series of physical challenges linked to the number 60!
