Grayson Crump & Family

Hi, I'm Tori, sister-in-law to Kate and Scott and aunt to Grayson.

Grayson was born on November 21, 2021. He arrived a bit early, and he had some trouble breathing. Since then, he has spent a total of 17 days at home. He has been in and out of the NICU and PICU at St. Mary's and VCU as specialists attempt to determine what could be impacting his lungs and breathing. Many tests have been performed, including extensive bloodwork. So far, various conditions and diseases have been ruled out, but there are still no definitive answers about treatment. As a result, the Crumps will travel to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Thursday, April 6, and Friday, April 7, for some outpatient appointments.

Due to Grayson's need for extended care, Kate needed to leave her position in Henrico and has secured a position in King & Queen County beginning April 11. Additionally, Scott recently had surgery causing him to be out of work for three weeks. To help the Crumps with the cost of travel, lodging, food, and additional medical bills in the meantime, we are asking, prayerfully, for you to give generously to this fundraiser. This will help reduce stress on Kate and Scott and allow them to pour their energy into supporting each other and caring for Grayson. After the loss of Ellett and a journey through IVF, this family needs any emotional and financial support we can offer.

Kate and Scott are so thankful for your support thus far, especially the meals that have been provided and care for their precious dogs! We are hopeful that they will all soon be settled at home in new routines.
