I had it drummed into my being:  Walkers try to help anyone who asks, and we never ask for help.  I have set up a GoFundMe account and ask if you could perhaps help me.  Please understand that this goes against everything I was raised by, but I need to ask for your help.

I have recently experienced a financial setback, which clearly is not your problem.  I am facing the probability of not being able to pay my rent this month and I may lose cable and internet access.  I also do not have health insurance and, now that I’m into my 73rd year, I suspect it’s about time.  I think I’ll be able to swing monthly payments, but I will incur a fine since I have not had the required insurance.

There are other things, too.  Can you help, please?
