Memorial Fund for Grant Westhoff

On the evening of June 15th, while driving home from work, our beloved friend Grant Westhoff was in a tragic car accident that would end up claiming his life. He was rushed to the hospital and despite receiving excellent care, succumbed to his injuries. In true Grant fashion, he did not leave this world before giving the incredible gift of organ donation. A kind and giving soul to the very end. 

Facing a world without this amazing human being is the most profoundly painful thing that we, his family and friends, have experienced. To know Grant was to love him. Grant spent a great deal of time this past year traveling across the U.S., sleeping in his car, and taking in all the beauty that this country has to offer. He recently returned to his job, but unfortunately, he was not there long enough before the accident to qualify for benefits such as health and life insurance. 

While still reeling from this tragedy, Grant's family is now faced with many difficult decisions regarding his finances, house, memorial service, and medical expenses. We are hoping that we can come together and ease some of this burden on his parents. No amount is too small. Any amount that exceeds what is required to cover these expenses will be donated to the American Humane Society in Grant's name.
