Grantham vs. Harvey

Hurricane Harvey hit my family very hard in Houston, TX and I want to try and help in any way that I possibly can. These last few days I have been trying to make sure my family is safe from states away and had my stomach turning in knots as I found out the horrors that they had to deal with. My dad and his girlfriend Marcia lost their home and their cars in the flood. They lost everything that they had as the flood waters came into their home at waist level. They were evacuated out by the Coast Guard and are currenlty in a safe shelter. At this time, my dad states that it might not be until 2 months that they are able to work on the house as the city of Houston will continue to drain the dams that are causing their flooding. In the next two months, Marcia and my dad will need to rebuild the first floor of their home and have transporation. If there is any way that you can help my family in this travesty, anything will be greatly appreciated. Update: Ken & Marcia have been able to get in their home now that the flood waters have receded some. They spent this last weekend moving all their items that were on their first floor into their front lawn. They have lost so many memories and treasures that were irreplaceable. In these next few weeks, they will be inspecting the house to see what can be salvaged or if they need to start over somewhere new. I will be releasing the funds into their names so that they will have full access to everything. Thank you so much for your continued support.
