This morning we lost my mom, Wilma Foland, and my brother Michael "Shorty" Foland, in a house fire. The house as well as vehicles are a total loss, unfortunately there was no homeowners insurance and liability only on the vehicles.
We are all absolutely devastated with the loss of Granny and Shorty. Shorty died a hero, sacrificing his own life to try to get Granny out. We don't have many answers as to what started the blaze, we presume it was caused by space heater.
Thanks to all who have checked on us, sent condolences and prayed for our family. Please, continue to keep us all in your prayers.
