Granite YMCA Clay Creations Youth Tile Project

Help us bring an inspiring and hands-on artistic event to the Granite YMCA in Londonderry, NH featuring renowned artist Teresa Taylor from Salty Dog Potter. This unique workshop is dedicated to nurturing the creativity and individual expression of elementary school-aged children through the art of clay tile-making.

The goal of this tile project is to have fun with clay, building and using tools to create textures. It’s important that each student have their own personality/ voice in their tile. When Teresa teaches, she encourages students to experiment, make choices and feel good about their individual work.

She will offer a brief demonstration at the beginning of the workshop and let the youngsters' creativity flourish as they get their hands dirty making their very own work of art to take home.
