Richard, Jo Ann Relocation Program

A Fire broke out around 3:45 am, a mile or two up the canyon from Richard and Jo Ann's house. Luckily Richard was getting up for an early morning work call. He heard fire engines going up the road and walked to back door to see what was going on. To his horror, the canyon behind the house was completely engulfed in flames.
He had only enough time to wake up all members of the family (my aunt uncle and cousin), get everyone and the family dog into a few vehicles, and evacuate.
Two hours later their house was burned completely to the ground. The winds were very high that morning, making the fire so hot that even their cast iron cookware melted. There is literally nothing left of the house, and they had no time to gather anything to take with them. It’s all gone.
Thankfully, no one involved was hurt during the fire. However, this event left my grandparents, aunt/uncle, and cousins without a home to go back too.
This campaign is to help them get housed and situated. I set the goal for 10 thousand dollars based on my estimation of the cost of first months rent, security deposit, and basic furniture like beds. When the 10k goal is reached i will raise the goal to accommodate things like a new wardrobe and cookware.
This is a very serious situation for our family. My grandparent are eldery and have lost everything. My family is pulling its resources, but we really need your help, in a big way. These are really good people.
