Grandma Elizabeth's Fighting Chance

Elizabeth "Grandma Liz" McDougal suffered a severe stroke on August 26, 2017 in Norfolk, VA, just one day before her 81st birthday. This type of stroke - an ischemic stroke - is the worst stroke that a person could have because it directly 'burns out' the pans gland, the nucleous of the brain. We've been hopeful each day that my grandmother responds to our plea for her to open her eyes, the nurses pinching and her visible reaction to music, familiar voices and prayer. However, time is running out and we need to move Grandma Liz to the proper care facilities immediately! We only have until this Friday, September 1st to get Grandma Liz the care she needs!
Grandma Liz is a mother to 10 children, grandmother to 25 grandchildren, great grand to 9+ and a loving wife to Army veteran Elder Texie J. McDougal. She recently survived a 2-year battle with endometrial cancer, a true testament to our belief in her will to live and God's power to heal!
My family needs your help, NOW! We have found a stroke specialist in West Palm Beach, FL who will provide the proper medical treatment for my grandmother's immediate needs. It will cost roughly, $25K+ to get treatment started:
- $15K to airlift her to Florida (a 2-hr flight from VA)
- $10K+ will be needed to cover medical bills, extended lodging, therapy

Time is of the essence in this situation, as her current hospital has given up on her, but our family has not!
