Grandfather attacked on way 2 work

Luis Moreno woke on September 3, 2018, with the intention to get to work. He left his home in Los Angles at 7:30 a.m., and he was bound to his work at a local lunch truck. However, he never made it work. Not but a few minutes away from his home did he encounter two individuals with the intent to not only commit robbery but who tragically changed an entire family. This hardworking, father, cousin, grandfather and friend was brutally attacked. During the violent attack, he suffered a broken cranium, broken cheekbone, and a collapsed lung.

Mr. Moreno was a provider for his family and he was a loving husband. The family is in shock! As a family, they had to make a painful decision. Mr. Moreno was allowed to rest by his family and passed away on September 14, 2018, at 4:50 p.m.

At this time the family is still in shock that their father was murdered. LAPD has yet to identify the people that violently attacked Mr. Moreno.  Contact LAPD if you have any information about this crime.
