Grand River Opera: Britten’s The Turn of the Screw

Donation protected
After the success of our inaugural production of Puccini’s Suor Angelica in March, Grand River Opera is bringing more opera to the Waterloo Region.

This October, we are presenting Benjamin Britten’s operatic ghost story, The Turn of the Screw, in English, and accompanied by piano. We have fantastic local artists lined up for performances in both Waterloo and Guelph!

For this production of The Turn of the Screw, we are looking to raise $5,000 from private donations via Go Fund Me.  This is just a portion of our budget for this show. We are also looking for corporate sponsors: if you have, or know of, a business that wishes to support the arts in the Kitchener-Waterloo and Guelph community, please reach out.

We are thrilled at the enthusiasm and energy that our community has supported us with so far, and are so excited to showcase the immense talents of our local artists. $5000 sounds like a lot, but every little gift helps.
50 gifts of $100 or
100 gifts of $50 or
200 gifts of $25 will get us to our goal.
If one of every thousand people in the K-W/Cambridge/Guelph area could give $10, we would more than make our goal!

Please help Grand River Opera Mount our second production and share the magic of the human voice with our community.
