Graffy Environmental Group against Wind Farm

We, the Graffy Environmental Group need your help.

The news currently isn't what we wanted to hear. Cuilfeach and Harley Planning Consultants have appealed the decision by An Bord Pleanala for a wind farm in the Glen if Graffy Co. Donegal, to the High Court. We the Graffy Environmental Group must be there by at the hearing and subsequent Judicial Review to ensure that the correct and full story of effects on residents and environment is heard.

Over a period of several applications to Council, who finally strongly quashed permission in which over 50 people put in objections, and over 100 people signed a petition. Then An Bord Pleanala also issued a very strong refusal 2 years later.

Now incredibly they, Cuilfeach, are asking the High Court to review and impose a wind farm in this community which will destroy it forever.

We urgently need funds to get a solicitor and barrister to represent us in the High Court.

Therefore we ask that in order to fund the expense of a solicitor and barrister to represent Graffy Environmental Group and the community opposed to the wind farm at the hearing, consideration by way of a donation would be gratefully received.
