Grady .you can eat it Why can't I?

Donation protected
Today July 20 our very special boy Grady (Irish Terrier) had emergency stomach surgery done in Brampton.
We don't have alot to finance this sudden and unfortunate surgery . And would really appreciate some help.
The story played out like this.
If you can eat it.Why can't I?
Grady's point of view.told by my best bud Shawn.
One of my clan Rachel took me to her work on Monday for some much needed doggy time, she's now married and moved away last fall.I don't see her as much, and its kind of lonely since I lost my litter mate Molly (14 ). A years ago .
Everyone works very hard.
So all was good until someone threw out a delicious flavoured smelling corn on the cob. I couldn't resist, and know one knew I had found it.i don't do this at home. I was OK for a couple of days, but 0430 Wednesday morning I started to vomit alot. And needed to get that stuff out.Little did Shawn know ,it was my 3rd time that night I vomited and nobody knew. My buddy went to work he buys me treats. My mama came to my rescue and,I tried to vomit again to get more out ,only a little came out and then I didn't feel much like running around i had no "get up and go. "So I laid down for a long time because my tummy hurt.
Rachel took me to the vet they poked and prodded, and took my temperature ,Hey!!? Took a lot of pictures,X-rays and did a lot of talking, but didn't tell me.
They talked about the. X-rays They investigated and did some back tracking . I had pieces of a corncob stuck in my stomach and intestines.
Too late damage done .
Emergency surgery to check small stomach and intestines for ruptures, all to be done on Thursday morning @0800. Who knew a corn cob was like a chesse grater. I don't remember much but I'm really tired and sore .let Shawn tell the rest.
The vet informed us of very expensive surgery and recovery which meant staying overnight in a different hospital to monitor his fluid and pain medication (iv).also we would have to pay separate bills before we could leave, all this after we transferred the poor guy by car.
Still knocked out from the medication. They did call and update his condition.
The next day we had to go back and return to the vet for a post opp check up ,and confirmation he was good to come home thank god.
It's been a hard and stressful two years.
Grady is a beautiful boy he has helped keep our family together especially my wife after going through some depression losing her job on New Year's Day two years ago . Shes an angel and took care of the elderly, went back to school and even influenced others and now visits them at their home for a fraction of what she's worth.
The rest of the clan is trying hard to work out this financing but it's very stressful and we don't have any funds to help cover the cost of the surgery and this little guy didn't diserve this pain .He loves being with people and other dogs.He growls like a Wookiee and looks like ALF from TV.
If you could find it in your hearts to donate to fund Grady's surgery that would be so kind.
What you can spare would really be appreciated and be so ever grateful,
thank you the Kelly clan
