Graduation Gift: Replanting California
Hey everyone!
As some of you may know, I am finally graduating in spring 2021. And as a way to celebrate the ending of my academic career, I am raising money to replant California's forest after the devasting fires consumed over 2 million acres in 2020 alone.
As a few of you may know, I am extremely passionate about the environment and about creating a sustainable future to combat climate change. This is why when I saw fires like the Creek fire and the Bobcat fire burned over 200,000 acres alone, I knew what I wanted more than gifts and money, was to re-plant trees as my graduation present.
So please help this first-generation, future college graduate celebrate all the hard work and adversity by donating. I believe that we all have the potential to be do great things, and one of those great things is saving the planet.
I will be setting an example by donating to plant 10 trees for every year I was in college (10 yrs.) Any donations will go a long way to restore our environment so please donate what you can.
Or you can take the 10 trees/per year challenge too. If you are a college graduate and future graduate, I encourage you to also donate to plant 10 trees for every year you were in school as well!
Every dollar donated, plants 1 tree!
I will be partnering and splitting the donations with a few local non-profit organizations as well as One Tree Plant ( https://onetreeplanted.org/) and the American Forest(https://www.americanforests.org/)
