Gracie's cancer treatments

Gracie is our 12 years old pug and she has recently been diagnosed with dermal melanoma. Gracie joined our family when she was 10 months old......I never thought I would ever own a pug....afterall they were weird little dogs LOL--I was going to take her and help find a home. That new home ended up being mine and I have never regretted the decision to keep her. We recently took her to an oncologist for a consult after having a growth removed. We had already spent well over $1500.....I do have carecredit. The treatment that will provide her best survival rate will cost approx. $4000 starting off.... This is a type of vaccine that will help her to produce what is needed for her body to fight off the cancer itself and she is a good candidate for it. If we just do "monitoring"....we will only know when it "returns" and it has metastasized spreading to her lungs and lymph nodes.  I am NOT one to ask for financial help.....I try to be fully self supporting, but after many many prayers, I am willing to humble my self and ask for my baby. I don't have two  (2) legged children.....my dogs are my kids! I cannot *not* do something to help my Gracie. I am also reaching out to organizations that provide assistance, so if there any funds left over they will be given to an animal nonprofit so they can help other fur babies.
