Grace's Emergency Oral Surgery Fund

Hi, I’m Grace. About 3 years ago, I was told I had to find a new dentist, as mine no longer took my health insurance. In the process of this, I experienced a very traumatic dental appointment where the health-insurance-covered dentist illegally performed a root canal on me. Just days after this appointment, the cap he had placed over the root canal fell apart, and I went back for an emergency visit. The dentist told me there was nothing he could do, as he was not able to provide me with the necessary crown due to the fact that he wasn’t legally allowed to perform surgeries like this as just a dentist.

It’s been 3 years, and I’ve had a gaping hole in the right side of my jaw that is causing issues to my other teeth and gums. The hole has become a food trap, building up bacteria, and left unattended for much longer, WILL lead to me losing my other teeth and needing dentures in my 20s. I was told initially that state health insurance would help cover the surgery. Now, just weeks before I’m meant to have a bone graft and a screw implanted by an oral surgeon, I received a call from my health insurance saying they’re declining to help AT ALL. Please help me not lose my teeth.

For those who know me already, I lost my father 2 years ago to Agent Orange. My father had dentures from a very young age and wanted for me not to struggle in the ways he did. I do plan to sue the dentist who performed the work on me, but this surgery is emergent & I need help. Thank you ❤️
