Dave Grabczak has been a pillar in our community; attending Hobart schools K-12, and returning after college as a teacher, football coach, and lifelong mentor to his students and players.

Coach Grabczak began his Hobart football career in 1979 on the Brickie Pop Warner team and hasn’t stopped since. In addition to Sectional, Regional, and Semi-State titles Dave helped lead the Bricks to the 1987 and 1989 State championships. His hard work on the field earned him a spot on the coaching staff, where for the past 24 years he has continued to share his love for the game.

Unfortunately, on August 17th, Dave began the fight of his life after suffering from a heart attack.

Just as Coach Grabczak has given countless hours both on the field and in the classroom, we would like to join forces in returning his unwavering kindness.

If you’re able to help ease the financial burden with even a small donation, the raised money will help offset some of the medical bills and unforeseen expenses as he embarks down his road to recovery. If you are unable to make a monetary contribution, please consider sharing this on your social media outlets and send prayers for Dave Grabczak.

Let’s prove that in Hobart…Once a Brickie, Always a Brickie.

Hobart Football Booster Club's Holli and David Kostbade will be withdrawing the donations and providing Dave a check to help with his medical expenses. A huge THANK YOU to all who have donated. Please message Jennifer Zoladz, Ryan Turley, Holli Kostbade, or David Kostbade for any further questions.

Thank you!
