My sister, Suzanne Poteet, and her husband, Chuck, suffered a total loss (home and cars) in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. While we praise God for their safety, we have had many friends and family members reach out, asking how they can help.
I, Deborah Songer Gray, from Daniels, West Virginia, have set up this online fundraiser to help raise money to help them repair their home and purchase new transportation. Chuck's real estate office was badly damaged and will also require significant repairs.
All funds through Go Fund Me will go directly to Suzanne and Chuck as they begin to pick up the pieces and rebuild everything this devastating storm took from them. If you cannot donate, please join us in the following prayer:
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.
