GPAGNW Annual Funds Drive 2018

Greyhound Pets of America Greater Northwest (GPAGNW) is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) Not For Profit organization, dedicated to placing retired racing Greyhounds into forever homes throughout Washington and Idaho.
The costs associated with transporting Greyhounds to the Pacific Northwest have skyrocketed in recent years, as have our veterinary bills for preparing them for adoption (spay/neuter, vaccinations, blood tests, teeth cleaning and de-worming are standard procedures for all of our foster dogs). These expenses have risen to the point that our adoption fee is less than our acquisition costs for each dog. We feel strongly that we cannot raise adoption fees any more than we already have.
Please help GPAGNW continue to find homes for these loving and deserving Greyhounds. No donation is too small.

The passage of Florida Constitutional Amendment-13 (A-13) on November 6th is a game changer! A-13 will bring about the closure of all 12 Florida racetracks and likely mean the end of Greyhound racing across the US. Please see Update #6 on the Updates Tab. The initial result of this change will leave an estimated 8000 Greyhounds that are currently in kennels, farms and tracks in Florida homeless. GPAGNW must play a leading role in the massive mobilization needed to move these dogs out of Florida and into the hands of adoption organizations like ours.
The original goal of this fundraiser was $4,000. In order to do our part in this mobilization, we will likely need 10 to 20 times that much. We have therefore raised that goal to $20,000 which will cover the costs of acquiring and transporting an initial haul or two of dogs to the PNW.
