Disaster Relief

Last evening at approximately 5:00 PM the Washington County, NY - Department of Public Safety. 911 Communications Center began receiving reports of storm related incidents in the area of the Village of Whitehall and immediately surrounding areas in the Town of Whitehall and Town of Dresden. As the storms brought significant amounts of rain to the Whitehall area, accompanied with thunder, lightning and strong winds - the village area experienced flooding in multiple locations.  My parents, Shirley and Robert Belden sustained significant damage to their home with over 3 feet of water, losing everything on the first floor including appliances, furniture, electronics and furnace, and will need to gut the entire first floor in order to be able to occupy their home again.  They are currently displaced and are staying with family.  Unfortunately, they did not have insurance to cover this disaster.  Donations of funds, furniture, appliances, or a storage unit would all be appreciated.  Thank you in advance.
