Family Homeless for the Holidays

Recently my family of three became homeless due to the home we were living in being sold. We were able to find temporary lodging at the hotel that I worked at, but soon after she was laid off due to the busy season being over.
Currently Mike is staying on a co-worker's couch so that he can get back and forth to his job. My son and I are an hour away staying at a friends house. We are grateful for that but it can only be temporary do to the fact she has 4 kids who have had their life interrupted.
We are currently without a vehicle because this past September Mike got into a really bad accident which totaled our car. We have had to sell almost everything we own to try to save as much money as possible.
We had plans to move to Florida and start over, but we got word that my husband could apply for a much better position at his current job. We have been looking tirelessly for an apartment in our area that we could afford and still get a car {needed to get to and from work}, and put my son into a permanent school. We have had to move him a couple of times to different schools and that’s unstable.
Please help my family start over again. Even if it's just sharing, we can get the word out there.
