Gordon Family fire relief

Hello friends and family, thank you for checking out this fundraiser. 

On June 30th my parents home in Ojai California caught fire. Something exploded in the garage and the fire inspector is still trying to figure out what happened. Thankfully all residents and pets were able to escape but the garage and several vehicles did not survive.

The memories lost in the fire are irreplaceable but we are grateful that only possessions are ruined and everyone is safe and healthy.  

Here is where the fund raising part starts- it is difficult to ask, but my family needs help. My dad, the most generous person I have ever met, has lost everything. That garage was his domain. My dad works with his hands and over the past 50 years has collected an amazing array of tools both old and new-all are gone. My dad continues to make a living using those tools and now that is not possible. Two vehicles were destroyed and 2 more are melted and not driveable. My dad, mom and sister are now all 3 sharing one vehicle and this just isn’t feasible. They are currently displaced and will be for many months as the house is unlivable and needs massive repairing. To add to everything, they also have 2 cats and a 120 lb pitbull traveling with them. It is a long road ahead and they will need all the help they can get.
