"Goodbye, Bird" Chamber Opera
“Goodbye, Bird” chamber opera is a new innovative art project which is going to be premiered at the end of 2020 in Munich.
The opera is based on the homonymous novel by Armenian contemporary writer Aram Pachyan . Being highly appreciated by Armenian readers, the novel is already translated and published in English. The author of the opera is young composer Arsen Babajanyan , who already had many achievements during his musical career and currently is focused on realising his first chamber opera project.
“Goodbye, Bird” chamber opera pretends to be a unique showcase of communication between several contemporary art branches:
Literature, Music, Visual Arts and Performing Arts. On the one hand it will illustrate how the same emotions and heroes can speak on
different languages of art , on the other hand it's an extraordinary space of cultural exchange between artists of different nations and
cultures due to the international team united around this project.
