Good Memories

Project Booyah met with Nikky and her family about 12 months ago wanting to help her with her son Jai. Nikky had her medical problems but just told us about them in conversation, but was all about Jai and CJ and getting the best for them and how they could achieve the best. Nikky did not want Jai and CJ to use her medical conditions as an excuse but rather motivate them to better things.

In this time Nikky got sicker and was diagnosed with a cancer behind her knee. This was very aggressive cancer and resulted in Nikky watching Jai graduate Project Booyah from a hospital bed in Brisbane and then within a week have her leg amputated. This was supposed to be the big procedure to change Nikkys health but the cancer had already spread to her lungs and she has been given weeks, hopefully months to live.

Nikky has been told it is her last Christmas with Jai and CJ and all she is hoping to give them is some “good memories”. So help us give Nikky, Jai and CJ some good memories and a Christmas to remember.
