We have a dream (this is how they all start right?) to travel in our converted school bus from breweries, to hole in the wall diners & pubs while taking pictures and telling their stories. We want to help you find the best food and drinks that you wouldn't normally find on google maps, or even in visitor brochures.
We are two aspiring artists that have spent the last 10 + years in the foodservice industry. We've seen it all from shitty dive bars to white tablecloth fine dining. What we have learned throughout the years in this industry, is that you don't need to spend top dollar for great food. Usually, the best food and environments are in places that you would never expect.
In order to travel and blog about all these places, last winter we bought and renovated a short school bus to be our mobile work station/home. Since the end of January until now, we've been tirelessly working on the bus, day in & day out. Ripping out the seats & floor, insulating it, building furniture, we even painting the exterior, all by ourselves.
At the end of August 2019, we will be packing into our bus and traveling down the American East Coast to start our blog & seek out those hidden gems for ourselves, but we're gonna need a little bit of help. Since we are two starving artists, any help we can get will be greatly appreciated. The funds gathered will be going towards our equipment, fuel, & for all the restaurants we will be showcasing (mainly family run).
With your support, we will be able to live out our dream of working and traveling around the country. We'll also be able to provide you with an ever-updating list of the best places to go out and enjoy great food & drinks with friends and family.
