Golike Medical and Living Needs Fund 2.0

Dear Ones,

I was incredibly moved to see this community come around the Golikes to raise much needed funds to help cover medical and living costs when Scott had his stroke a few years back.

It was especially moving to hear countless stories of how Scott and Roberta have touched so many lives throughout their lives through ministry and friendship in so many big and small ways. Their legacy of love has truly changed lives and will impact generations.

I am writing to ask this community to RALLY AGAIN on behalf of our sweet friends the Golikes.

Some of you may have heard that Scott had a STEMI heart attack a few weeks back. He had to have a couple of emergency surgeries to have a major blockage removed. Thankfully, the surgeries went well. He did have a few complications that are being sorted out, but he is recovering well. He is currently in a medical rehabilitation center.

As you can imagine, in this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, visitation is strictly regulated and even his family has not been able to be with him through much of this.

Scott and Roberta and family can use your prayers-- for Scott's health, for encouragement and comfort for both of them, for Roberta as she has shouldered heavy new and evolving caregiving needs, and for financial provision as they face a whole new set of medical costs related to Scott's heart attack.

They also could really use our financial help. Their income has greatly diminished since Scott's stroke and their medical expenses have increased-- even more so after this heart attack.
