UPDATE: This Gofundme page now provides ongoing support for my work on Goliath Guitar Tutorials.com. Every donation made is very gratefully received and helps me continue to produce content for the website.
This page was originally set up to fund the rebuild of the website. I had to remove the original site because I was giving away free guitar tabs, and they (the music publishers) didn't like that. Providing free guitar tuition is not a value they share, especially when corporate bonuses are on the line. See below for the original campaign info.

I (Gareth Evans) was compelled to close my website Goliath Guitar Tutorials and remove most guitar lessons from my YouTube channel in order to settle a licensing issue.
Music publishers were holding my YouTube channel to ransom. They issued 5 copyright strikes on my videos, this action triggered YouTube's automated channel termination system. The channel was due for termination on September 21st. For more information on how the situation unfolded, watch my video on the matter HERE
In order for the music publishers to agree to reinstate the YouTube channel, I needed to take down my website and remove over 400 guitar lessons from YouTube. The publishers say that the guitar tabs (musical notation) must be licensed before I distribute them, even on the videos.
I have all the lessons backed up, but I need your help to get them online again!
In order to publish them again and relaunch site I must edit out the tabs portion of the videos, reupload the videos and repopulate the web pages. This is a huge task and will take weeks of work. I can't do this alone!
This fund raising page will raise funds in order to pay someone to help me re-work, re-upload and re-populate all the guitar lessons on the website.
I know some of you would like my lessons back online sooner rather than later, so this is your opportunity to contribute towards that happening.
