Golden BC Motorized Skills Development Park

The Golden Moto Skills Development Park (GMSDP), located at the base of Mt. 7, is a place where dirt bike riders of all levels come to work on their craft of two wheel riding. It is a family friendly area, within Town of Golden limits, that enables gatherings and opportunities for young, old, experienced and inexperienced riders to develop skills.
GORMA (Golden Off-Road Motorcycle Association) is the non-profit organization responsible for administration and maintenance of the area, as well as all the other sanctioned trails in the area.
GORMA, which is entirely volunteer driven, has done excellent work with area stakeholders, its members and the moto community in general to ensure that access to this wonderful area remains open.
However, beyond a small annual membership fee paid to GORMA by its members, which is split with all GORMA initiatives, there is currently no appropriate mechanism to capture revenues that would go toward the administration and maintenance of the Skills Dev Park.
GORMA needs to raise enough money to conduct regular track maintenance and administration fees (insurance). Currently machine work is being conducted on the track to manage invasive plant species (before they go to seed) and to tune up all the landings and take offs. Work to continue to make the features safer is also taking place.
All funds donated here will go towards paying for the hard costs involved to keep the area open.
