We Are Going Green For Kristine

   I work at a family practice in Dighton, MA.  One of our medical assistants, Kristine Haley, has been diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma.  She is just 29 years old with so much life left to live.  She is fiesty, funny and always smiling.  She is more than a co-worker- she is my friend.  
  She has used all of her vacation and sick time while going to specialist trying to find out what had been causing the pain.   There were also days she was too sick to work.  
    She will be out of work while she fights to rid her body of the cancer.  Her treatment will be aggressive as she has an aggressive type of lymphoma.  There will be impatient and outpatient treatment lasting months.   
   Cancer treatment has come a long way but it also  comes at a very expensive cost.  She no longer has a paycheck coming in and has living expenses as well as the large medical bills that have started to come in.   She has insurance but it has a very large deductible and some things are not covered at all.
   The medical bills and lack of ability to pay them is the last things anyone going through this should have to worry about.  That is why I have created this page.  She needs a helping hand right now and if you can find it in your heart to give,  even the smallest amount will help .   I know she will  appreciate it very much and so will I.   If you can't give then please share so maybe others you know can, prayers and well wishes are also welcome.

The green ribbon is the symbol for a cure for Lymphoma and also her favorite color which is why We Are Going Green For Christine  the name of the campaign.
