GoGo's 12hr TT for The Natasha Lewis Foundation

In April, my friend Tash Lewis tragically passed away following a collision with a car whilst out running.

Having excelled across a number of sports, she was training towards her goal of a GBR marathon vest. She was a remarkable person...kind, funny, supportive, driven, dedicated and incredibly talented. She was a massive source of inspiration to me and many others in our community.

It was Tash that encouraged me to enter a 12 hour TT race last year (the goal of which is to cycling as many miles as possible in 12 hours). On the 1st August, I will be taking part in a 12hr TT again...but this time it's the National Championships, I have my eye on a national title, and a national veteran record (274 miles +), and who knows maybe I can get close to the national record (290+). Tash showed me how to dream big and work hard to make it happen, so with that in mind I will be raising funds for her foundation which launches in September to support athletes in the Bath community excel and fulfil their potential.

Any donation, no matter how small, will be put to incredibly good use creating a positive legacy beyond Tash's wildest dreams. It will also mean the world to me, Tash's family and friends.

This is me after last years' race, 273 miles, 1st Female, and a new overall club record for Bath CC. My feet were burning so much from being restricted in carbon shoes for so long that I couldn't stand up for a while, there were lots of other painful parts as you can imagine LOL.
