Zosima’s Battle With Cancer

We would like to thank all those who have supported us this far.

Sadly, on Monday, August 13, Tita has passed. Funeral plans are still being arranged and any updates regarding locations and times will be posted here.

On September 2017, Zosima was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer which advanced too soon.
She was determined to conquer cancer so she would not have to leave her 21 year-old daughter, Laura, behind.

Zosima endured several sessions of external and internal radiation, along with chemotherapy. When the tumor was discovered, its measurements were comparable to the size of a baseball. The cancer spread and the tumor grown exponentially. Zosima suffered a spinal cord compression from the tumor, and a pulmonary embolism in her lung.

As you are all aware due to Zosima’s illness, she has not been able to work. Laura had to stop going to school in order to take care of her mother. 

This gofundme was started by her niece, Ate Welma. All donations will go towards the funeral and burial expenses.

We are asking for your help, we would like to give Tita the funeral service she truly deserves , any amount would help and is much appreciated.
