5 year-old Killed in Accidental Shooting
The family of Kyler Nowlin Jackson regretfully announce that he died shortly after midnight on May 4, 2022. Kyler died from an unfortunate circumstance involving children with access to handguns. Kyler was 5 years old. Kyler was truly loved and will be forever missed.
The family is requesting community support through in this trying time as they prepare to lay Kyler to rest. The money collected through this campaign will be used to cover funeral expenses and other expenses related to the shocking death of Kyler. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Kyler's father Derek Jackson shared on Facebook "The hardest decision in life is to take someone you love so much...I mean sooo much off of life support and get the official time of death.....beyond hurt...My lil dude is officially gone and I don't and a piece of my heart is gone with him... The conversation before I went to work Thursday before he left for the weekend was..."Hey baby" Ky: "Hey Dad"....Me: You know I love you right...Ky: I know dad...Me: Well how you know I love you son...Ky: (with the biggest smile) Cause you tell me all the time Dad...Yes I told him "I love you" all the time ...KYLER NOWLIN JACKSON I'mma miss you like crazy ...who do I proudly drop off to school in the am now......"
"I promise you, this ain't getting swept under the rug. We're going to do everything to find out everything that happened with Ky. My life and my world will never be the same." says Kyler's mother Kaylynn Davidson.
The funeral for Kyler will be held on Thursday May 12, 2022 at 1pm at Pentecostal Cathedral COGIC 1025 W Western Ave, South Bend, IN 46601.
