Dear Family and Friends,
Our dad, husband, grandfather, son, brother and uncle Neal Gochman unexpectedly passed on Thursday, October 31, 2019. Neal went into the ER on Monday afternoon due to high blood sugar and difficulty in breathing. He was soon after diagnosed with Leukemia and was transferred to ICU.
Neal had an extremely high white blood cell count which caused lung and heart complications. He was placed on a ventilator while doctors were flushing his white blood cells in order to stabilize his breathing and ease the stress on his heart and vital signs.
During a procedure called Leukapheresis in which white blood cells are separated from the blood, Neal went into cardiac arrest for the second time in 3 days. Unfortunately, with the combination of heart complications, fluctuating blood pressure, fluid in his lungs, and the Leukemia rapidly attacking, his heart gave out.
The amount of grief our family is experiencing is indescribable. With Neal's unexpected passing the amount of expenses are accruing. In support of Ronit and the family your help is truly appreciated.
