Hi everyone -
My name is Chris Dachille and I’m asking again for your financial help. Before I do that, I want to thank my friend Gerry Sandusky who started a Go Fund Me in April that netted just under $30,000.
That still amazes me.
As do my medical bills. If I did not have insurance, I would easily be hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt. Thank goodness for insurance!
I have cancer. More specifically, LCH. One in a million adults get it and not a lot of people know how to treat it. I’m on my second try with a different chemotherapy. I received this news around the time I visited the LCH “guru” in Houston.
From his account, this is treatable. Not from his account, this is expensive. And in January rolls around to another year of medical fun. I’m slated to be finished treatment in early February. And my gosh, I hope this plan works.
I have had many adventures on the way. I believe I’ve visited the ER seven times this year and my next infusion will be my 25th. Add in the amount of scans and you get the picture.
