Help George and Join His Army In Battle

Donation protected
George Kiriazoglou, of Abingdon Maryland,  was diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of 3. For 26 years George has heroically battled cancer and the effects it has had on his body.

On Friday, November 15th, a new and very serious health challenge was placed upon George.  For many years, due to the effects of a lifetime of beating back his adversary, cancer, George has required a regular procedure to stretch his esophagus. During his most recent procedure, a hole was punctured in his esophagus.

This is a very serious complication and one that is having, and could continue to have, a profound effect on George’s health. He is currently in the Thoracic Care Unit at University Hospital in Baltimore. He is facing an uncertain period of time in the hospital and an equally uncertain, and very tough, road to recovery.

To chronicle the challenges George has had to overcome would take countless hours and still would not express the difficulty of his journey. His fight has been an inspiration to anyone who has had the privilege of knowing George and has witnessed his incredible spirit and the strength of his faith in God.

Throughout his battle with cancer George and his family, his mom, Kim, dad, Angelo and his siblings Megan and Katie, along with his uncles, aunts, cousins,  grandparents and countless friends,  have worked tirelessly to raise awareness and funding to assist organizations and families engaged in the same fight against cancer and it’s effects upon those afflicted and their families.

George has shared his inspirational story at countless events and he and his family have been very active in fundraising for many charities such as Relay for Life.

George is a true “Winning Warrior” in the battle against this disease!

This is yet another very unfair and difficult challenge placed upon George and his family. As he always has, George is fighting with every ounce of energy and spirit he possesses!

George is an inspiration and shining light of strength to everyone who knows him. He embodies the best of the “human spirit”, and he needs our help!

George and his family are facing a difficult and potentially extended recovery from this latest health event and the resulting impact, both emotionally and financially, will be considerable. George will not be able to work for the foreseeable future.

Please help us help George! Many have asked “How can I help?” One way is to make whatever donation you can to help Any amount you can contribute will be a great blessing to allow George and his family to devote 100% of their efforts to returning George and his inspiring spirit, incredible positive attitude and fabulous smile back to health as quickly as possible!

If you are unable to assist financially, please pray for George and his family.
