The preparation and journey to Black Rock City is a long and challenging one. Each year, we aspire to share an amazing experience with those dusty souls who make the long trek to this magical and temporary community built in the desert, where conditions are harsh but creativity abounds.

For those unfamiliar, Burning Man started in 1986 and has been gathering together wildly imaginative participants (Burners) ever since! The Burning Man ethos is based on it's 10 Principles:

These guidelines, set in motion by the founder himself, are the fabric from which the Burning Man culture is built and the responsibility of each participating individual to uphold.

In 2023, we decided to step up our offering for others to experience by way of Communal Effort in designing and building an art car to bring to the Burn. The Go Fish! Flying Fish Mutant Vehicle concept will offer a mobile oasis of shade and cooling mist to hot and weary Burners on their bikes as they traverse the "Playa," as they call the dusty ground. Go Fish! will have the ability to cruise deep Playa during the heat of the day, and create much-needed shade during art tours when daytime temperatures push upwards of 100 degrees, as well as make surprise visits to camps throughout the event.

Just as getting to Burning Man is a monumental undertaking, building an art car is no small effort and requires a great deal of creative thinking, design and execution, as well as the project of transporting the completed art car from South Florida to the Black Rock Desert in Nevada by mid-August.
