In Memory of Heather King

Donation protected
For anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Heather Sears-King, they would know that Heather had the kindest and most caring heart. If hearing of someone in dire need she would take the intiative to do what she could to help. She would lend a hand to a friend and even to their friend's fur babies as she loved her own. But above all, Heathers life was her family. A devoted and loving wife to Doug for 25 years. As well, in conversation with Heather, she would speak of their two angels, her baby boys, Michael and Nicholas, whom she lost at birth. They were always in her heart. That was Heather's greatest role in her life, being a mom, Abby King's mom! Abby was the apple of Heather's eye, the greatest love in her heart and her most precious gift. I dont think there was a summer that didnt involve Heather bringing Abby and her friends on an excursion, a beach day or a mini cabin vacation. She truly loved every second they spent together. Unfortunately in January of this year Heather was informed that she would require major heart surgery in Ottawa. Although a major worry and concern, Heather continued to enjoy her time the best she could. Heather, accompanied by Doug, flew to Ottawa and on April 3rd Heather underwent heart surgery at the Univetsity of Ottawa Heart Institute. Recovery was extensive. On May 5th Heather developed complications from her surgery. Doug flew Abby to be with him so they could be there together for Heather. Sadly on May 6th, with Doug and Abby at her bedside, Heather passed silently and gracefully. As you can only imagine, Doug and Abby are in complete disbelief and devastated from the loss of Heather. To this day they remain in Ottawa currently awaiting Heather's cremation so they can bring her back home to her loved ones for a funeral service. The costs incurred for Doug and Abby's airfare, accommodations, meals, and everyday living in Ottawa are no doubt very extensive. Then they have to fly back home and prepare for Heather's funeral service. Money and costs are not something that the family should have to worry about at such a difficult time. Therefore, this go fund me has been established to offset those costs to make things just a little easier for the days ahead. Any donation you wish to give, i know, would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you could please share this page to reach out to others that may wish to help. On behalf of the King family I thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity.
